Environmentally friendly turfgrass —

Turf Hawaii is a Kona farm that uses sustainable agricultural practices developed over three decades. Our turfgrass will help you to be kind to nature, while finding comfort in nature in your own backyard.

Your Ideal Lawn —

We grow turfgrass varieties that are sought after by golf courses and resorts. We offer two of the most popular varieties in Hawai'i landscaping: seashore paspalum and El Toro Zoysia.

Seashore Paspalum

  • Thrives in full sun.

  • Fast-growing.

  • Blades are fine and soft to the touch.

  • Salt-tolerant grass, which means it can be irrigated with brackish or effluent water, instead of drinking water. Rock salt can be used for effective weed control to eliminate the need for chemicals.

El Toro Zoysia

  • Thrives in full sun and tolerates partial shade.

  • Slower growing than seashore paspalum and requires less frequent mowing.

  • Blades have a fine to medium texture.

  • Drought-tolerant, which means it requires less water to thrive.

Grass has a cooling effect. Lawns will naturally lower air temperature and beautify your outdoor space.
